"Stoneage" Sample Pack For Trigger - by eatsleepdrums (Go With The Flow)

“Stoneage” is a brand-new eatsleepdrums Sample pack for Slate’s Trigger which is inspired by the very famous album “Songs for The Deaf” by Queens of The Stoneage. The pack also comes with all corresponding 24bit WAV files for use in any sampler.

The pack is made from a variety of different drums - A Pearl Masterworks 22x18 kick drum, a 14x6.5 Ludwig Classic Maple snare drum and a pair of Ludwig classic Maple toms in 13x10 and 16x16 sizes.

Each drum was captured individually, using a specifically chosen microphone setup to achieve as accurate a capture as possible compared to the original drum sounds. The result is a sample pack that is incredibly punchy, in your face and hard hitting. Not only is it perfect for rock music but it will sit extremely well in many other styles of music where an upfront, dry sound is required.

The microphone setups for each drum (and the resulting trigger files) include:

Kick Drum

Kick Inside 1 - RE20
Kick Inside 2 - Sennheiser MD421
Kick Outside - Neumann U87 Vintage Silver
Overheads - AKG C414 Gold

Snare Bottom - Beyer M201

All captured via API preamps.
