How Much Time Off Running Should I Take After a Season | #AskNick Sometimes, RESTING IS TRAINING! Seriously. If you can't teach yourself to enjoy a little time off you're going to burn out quickly. 1-4 weeks of rest between seasons should do it. I found that 14 days was usually the ideal amount of "active recovery" for me.
