Queen Elizabeth shows her delight at her eighth great-grandchild after the birth of royal baby

Her Majesty smiled as ex-Canadian politician Jean Chretien congratulated her on the newest member of the Royal Family.

The monarch was joined by husband Prince Philip - a rare appearance for the Duke of Edinburgh since he retired from public life.

The Queen is not the only excited about the arrival of Baby Sussex, with Prince William and Kate Middleton gushing over how thrilled they were at the latest addition to the Royal Family.

The as of yet unnamed Baby Sussex was born on May 6th, 2019, weighing 7lbs 3oz.
