The exams are over and the results are coming in. While people celebrate and applaud the students who secure high marks, many people forget that the students who do not secure pass marks are the ones who require more help and support. The social pressure of passing every year and the intrinsic shame related to repeating a year takes a toll not students. In these times many students have to deal with depression and most of them do not understand how to deal with it. We need an educational system where nobody feels left out and nobody is compared in terms of subjects that are not meant for everyone. It is a fact that students do not learn many things that they need to survive in life and they end up mugging up a lot of half baked knowledge just for the sake of passing tests.
Let's make an effort to not make the students who couldn't make it this year feel left out or inadequate in anyway.
