Tourists and locals filled the high-street around Windsor Castle on Easter Sunday, as a religious service with the Queen and members of the British royal family took place inside at Saint George's Chapel.
But as the Easter traditions continue inside the castle, many outside await the birth of an exciting new addition the royal family.
With the due date fast approaching, the British-American royal baby is the main topic for royal followers and general visitors.
Joe and Dina, a British-American couple, said felt they could relate to some things the young royal couple has gone through and they welcome the change in the traditional British monarchy.
"It is quite a modern concept compared to a lot of the stuff that the royal family (do) and the world they inhabit," said Joe.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan Markle, as a divorced, American, Roman Catholic-raised woman of colour, has shaken up the British royal family tree with her modern sense of style and reported eco-friendly touches to her nursery.
And while some are accepting of the changes she's bringing to the monarchy, others show concerns about the modernization, such as Windsor resident and shop assistant Derek Prime
"All these changes she is doing, she wants a male nanny, how many people you know have a male nanny, you know?"
The royal baby, expected in late April, will fall seventh in line for the throne, right behind Prince Harry.
