Michael (RK Bagatsing) hurries to the Salvadors' residence to insist his right as the father of Mikmik (Sophia Reola). Divina (Pilar Pilapil) blackmails Michael for him to stay away from his daughter. Katrina (Cristine Reyes) pleads with Michael to understand her reason for keeping the truth about Mikmik from him. Later, a heartbroken Katrina warns her mother-in-law of bad karma as Divina continues to taunt and torment her. Barbie (Moi Bien) tries her best to stay in the mansion for the sake of Mikmik and Joseph (Miguel Vergara).

Mikmik (Sophia Reola) and Joseph (Miguel Vergara) remain dejected while patiently waiting for Benjie (Keempee de Leon) and Ruth’s (Matet de Leon) safe return. Because of this, the rest of the household staff try their best to cheer the two kids up. Meanwhile, Divina (Pilar Pilapil) decides to set the Dimagmaliw's free, but on one condition. Benjie and Ruth soon make a heartbreaking decision for their son's sake. Not wanting to lengthen Mikmik's list of worries, Ester (Ces Quesada) refuses to inform the child of her health condition.
