Are you a smoker? Do you want to quit but finding it very difficult to do? Do you know someone who is a smoker and you would love for them to be able to KICK THE HABIT?

It is no secret anymore that the effects of smoking can KILL YOU! It's not a scare tactic . . . it's science! The chemicals that are part of the process of making nicotine for cigarettes are not only highly addictive, but they are TOXIC and LETHAL! We also know that quitting is a challenge, especially if this is a habit that you have had for many years. But it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE!

At present there are 16 MILLION Americans living with TOBACCO RELATED DISEASES! Do you want to be one of the individuals included in this statistic?! I'm sure you don't . . . Why do I feel so strongly about this? Well for starters I think that is WAY too many people to be living with disease that is the direct result of a lifestyle choice! Also, according to the CDC, smoking causes more than 480,000 DEATHS/ YEAR in the USA!

Smoking is also the leading cause of PREVENTABLE DEATH in the USA. Yes, you read that correctly . . . PREVENTABLE DEATH! Wouldn't you do anything to prevent your own death if you could?!

If that isn't convincing enough, let's look at all the wonderful things that smoking gifts us with if we decide we want to keep up with this HEALTH SUCKING habit:

1. It affects your physical performance! You don't have to be an athlete for this to have an impact. This means that it affects anything you do that is "physical" because it impairs your respiratory health and functioning. A simple stroll will be more difficult for you than a non-smoker.

2. It alters your brain chemistry and performance. Essentially you are robbing your brain cells of oxygen with every inhale!

3. Has the potential to cause cancer in your pet. Just because Fido isn't actively smoking, he is exposed to your second hand smoke and that is impacting his health!

4. It damages your vital organs. Again, you are depriving your organs of the necessary OPTIMAL amount of oxygen they need to perform and function at their very best.

5. 1.69 BILLION POUNDS of cigarettes are littered worldwide each year! No further words needed!!!

6. Prematurely ages your physical appearance. Look, you are inviting TOXIC CHEMICALS into your body, do you really think this is not going to have some outward physical impact?! C'mon . . . !

Here are a few more statistics that you may find interesting. If you are a smoker, smoking increases your risk of the following:

Coronary heart disease by 2-4 times
Stroke 2-4 times
Lung cancer in men 25 times
Lung cancer in women 25.7 times
