Solo artist Liam’s daughter Molly, from his on-off relationship with Lisa Moorish, is reportedly at the centre of the worsening rivalry with High Flying Birds frontman Noel. Molly has been growing increasingly close to her dad, rebranding herself as Molly Moorish-Gallagher and featuring in his biopic As It Was. Noel, 52, and his wife Sara are reportedly bemused by her chumming up to Liam, 46. The couple feel they were there for her when Liam “didn’t want to know”, reports The Sun. Liam’s taunts finally reached a head this week and prompted his big brother to respond after it is claimed he sent a “threatening” text to his daughter Anais. Molly has reportedly now “turned her back” on Noel and Sara as she becomes part of Liam’s clan. The couple are said to have helped Molly, 22, through education, took her on holiday and gave her family support. Sources reportedly said Noel and Sara feel jilted by the aspiring model and feel she is using Liam to boost her own profile. Liam has an upcoming solo album – Why Me, Why Not? – and has just come off the back of a top spot at Glastonbury. A source said: “Liam didn’t give a s**t for years, now suddenly she’s part of the gang and Noel is a distant memory. “Molly is family to him and Sara, and they treated her as such. “Since she went over to the dark side it’s all stopped.” However, pals of Liam’s side give another side to the story – claiming Noel is “jealous” of his brother’s newfound success. Noel reportedly expected Liam to crash and burn after the break-up of Oasis in 2009. Penning classics such as Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger, the guitarist was the driving force behind the legendary band until their split. Liam has continued to soldier on however and, after a rocky few years with new band Beady Eye, his solo career is taking off. A pal said: “Everyone thought Liam’s solo career would flop, including Noel. But it’s done better than expected.” They added: “[Noel] feels that should be reserved for him, not his little brother who he feels he carried for years.” Liam’s camp also feel like Noel has been attempting to “stunt” his little brother’s success by trying to restrict his use of the Oasis songs he wrote. The singer hit back in a recent interview, saying the songs are just as much his as they were written for Oasis, not Noel. Liam and Noel’s feud as raged on despite reported attempted interventions from their mum Peggy. Noel’s wife Sara branded Liam a “fat t**t” and a “tribute act” after his performance at Glastonbury. The comment infuriated Liam’s camp – sparking the latest series of barbs over Twitter. Liam reportedly sent a WhatsApp message to Anias warning Sara to “be careful”, which was responded to by Noel who said “enjoy the summer big t*ts”. The younger Gallagher then offered his "sincere apologies" for his "childish behaviour" – saying to Peggy and Anais "I love you both dearly". Bookies have odds of an Oasis reunion at their longe
