Moses, Opuli, Otunga Revisted - A Turnaround of Things; UNBELIEVABLE!

Moses, Opuli, Otunga Revisted - A Turnaround of Things; UNBELIEVABLE! It was way beyond joy seeing the great improvements in Moses, Opuli and Otunga's overall health and general wellbeing. It was obvious the food we were bringing them was being given to them. The doctor had told grandma Peninah and if she didn't make sure her grandkids were fed, he would make sure she's punished. I think that little hard warning worked.
We were particularly impressed by Bwibo, who seemed to be RISING UP fast in love, in care and generally, in being a better mom. Her house smelled so fresh and everything was so well arranged - incomparable to a lot of homes in Kenya, and what we saw in our first visits in that house, where feces was the hallmark and signature site on walls, floors and bedding. What's the better gift than being given a chance to improve? We gave Bwibo that gift and she seemed not to let us down. We had agreed mutually to take Moses away, and gave her a month to work out stuff, and she promised to let him go if she felt defeated. It has never been joy to separate families, but we were going to take away Moses, to save him from following his five siblings to the grave. That still remains the case and Bwibo is working out stuff to proof her love for Moses in an impressive way. This particular visit to Moses and cousins was the BEST of them all! Bwibo still needed to work on letting little Elizabeth have some life by putting her down to crawl. She also promised us to work on that. The grandma was going a good job with Opuli and Otunga. They looked good, and happier, except for Otunga who seemed crumpy when we arrived, but things changed shortly thereafter. I think he does that as a way of attracting attention. He misses a mommy or something, and whenever he sees our techs, he wants to be held. We agreed to do that for him some more in the future.
A VERY BIG THANK YOU to all our friends who have stood solidly with Moses through those challenging times, starting from the time we found him so defeated with SO MANY JIGGERS and PUS pockets, unable to walk, and almost dying. Your outpouring of LOVE, guys, got us going back and forth so many times, and now we're rejoicing at the fruits of love that are so succulent and sweet! THANK YOU is not even enough, you're so awesome and INVALUABLE!
