This acoustic version of ‘We’re Going to Ibiza!’ is part of Vengaboys’ latest EP called “Unplugged #1’s”. The EP includes two stripped back hits and was released in celebration of it being 20 years since they first topped the charts.
The band recorded this unplugged version of the song in their hotel room at the legendary Pikes Hotel in Ibiza.

Incredibly, ‘We’re Going To Ibiza!’ once again became a summer anthem this year. The song hit the top of the charts in Austria as THE protest anthem in response to the scandal which brought down the far-right government in the country. The Vengaboys were even invited to a celebration rally in Vienna, where they performed on top of the Vengabus to tens of thousands of people, making news worldwide.
