On this day, 10 years ago - minus possibly one day depending on how fast this video will process - Rocksteady released Batman: Arkham Asylum, the first entry in a series that many still consider the best representation of the dark knight in video game form, and which gave us Arkham City, one of my favorite games. In this short video tribute to the game that started it all, I try to analyze what works so well about Arkham Asylum, and what, 10 years on, we can still learn from its success about video-game adaptations of existing series.
