Shadow Attorney-General Wilfred Niwagaba will on Tuesday table a private members bill seeking to amend among other things, a number of constitutional provisions relating to elections. Some of the amendments include changing the appointment and number of electoral commission members, removing army representation in parliament and a reduction in the number of cabinet ministers.
The proposals come as an alternative to the proposed electoral reforms tabled by the Attorney General William Byaruhanga last week.
