Samuel L. Jackson Asked George Lucas If He Could Be in ‘Star Wars’ (2016)

Though he went on to play Jedi Mace Windu in “Star Wars,” Samuel L. Jackson told Howard in 2016 he initially offered to simply run across the screen in a storm trooper suit just to be in the movie.
