Tyson Fury has claimed he could beat the only man to defeat Anthony Joshua with one hand. Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr shocked the boxing world when he soundly beat Joshua to become World Heavyweight champion back in June. The pair are set for a rematch in December with Joshua keen to settle the score. But Fury has claimed if he and Ruiz Jr were to enter the ring together, it would be a no contest. The Gypsy King told TMZ Sports : "Listen, we never know what's going to happen in life and I can never say no to anything. "But one thing I will say is, I will let the fans decide, which hand I put behind my back and beat Ruiz with the other hand - because I only need one hand for him." It is the second time Fury has criticised Ruiz Jr in the last week, after joking he had been "eating a lot of tacos" instead of focusing on his fitness. Ruiz Jr's trainer Manny Robles recently admitted his fighter was "not in great shape" ahead of his second bout with Joshua. Fury meanwhile is preparing for his next fight with Swede Otto Wallin on September 14. He is expected to make light work of the relatively unknown Wallin, to set up a rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in February. Many felt Fury got the better of Wilder in their last fight in December, despite the judges scoring the bout a draw. Wilder seemed to be on the back-foot for much of the contest, but landed a devastating blow late on which appeared to have secured him a knock-out victory, until Fury miraculously recovered. Speaking of the punch, Fury told SiriusXM: “It didn’t hurt at all. I didn’t feel any pain so probably not (unconscious). “I think when you get hit in certain areas in the head you lose your coordination, you lose everything. It just goes for a second or so. “But when you come around you either get up and your legs are gone, or you get up and you’re okay like I was in that twelfth round. “As easy as I got up, I may never have got up. That was the type of punch that sometimes people won’t wake up from. Especially hitting me with a right hand and as I was going down he hit me with a left hook as well. “So that should have been concrete, good night Vienna. But the Gypsy King rose like a phoenix from the ashes off the canvas to rally back from the 12th and it was an epic round." Fury has since revealed to ESPN that the deal for a second bout with Wider has already been agreed. "If we both get through our next fights then we're going to fight February 22nd in the rematch," Fury said. 'The rematch is signed, February 22nd - Las Vegas, Nevada."
