In the balance between "being" and "doing", I advise entrepreneurs, executives and the NXTGEN (next generation) to hone in on what is most important in their lives and then, guide them to develop their action plan. This discovery process can include reflection, their values, a sorting of priorities or a past dream that now gets to come to the surface for manifestation.
Their goals or plan can include giving themselves permission to start a new or a different business, speaking publicly to guide others with their life's lessons in developing human capital or, giving to a nonprofit or community cause of their choice. Their business or body of work is what they hope to be their legacy. It can also include their philanthropic efforts and donations in the intention to empower another in service.
Each week, I discuss with the client what they have discovered about themselves, what challenges came up in the process, what new opportunities emerged and what are the next steps forward in their transformation. The client needs to be as committed to their development as their advisor.
As the client transforms and grows, their life touches surrounding lives in the ripple effect. The impact can start with their family, peers, associates, customers and/or the community of what they can have an influence with.
