Watch 1960s Teenagers Creating Movies For The First Time

Watch 1960s Teenagers Creating Movies For The First Time This film captures a critical moment in the evolution of what we now have today, millions and millions of amateur and semiprofessional YouTube content creators and others using small technology to create “movies”. We call them videos now but to me movies best describe their creative efforts to tell stories. 1969 when this film was made was a unique moment in the evolution of user generated style films as the Kodak is somatic and super rate and 8mm cameras came into prominence and teenagers and even younger kids pick them up and began to use them to tell stories. Of course that is so going on today and as a YouTube or myself, I am proud to be part of this movement I was fortunate to have been asked to make this documentary at the dawn of this creativity.
