KRI Raden Eddy Martadinata 331 is the first SIGMA 10514 ship built in the domestic PT PAL shipyard of Indonesia and she is the lead ship of her class. The vessel was commissioned on April 7, 2017 at Tanjung Priok, this is the result of a collaboration with the Dutch Navy's Damen Schiede Naval Ship Building under a contract signed with the Indonesian Ministry of Defence in June 2012. Named after Indonesian Navy admiral Raden Eddy Martadinata, who was one of the founders of the Indonesian Navy. He was awarded the honorary title of "National Hero of Indonesia" posthumously in 1966. ----------------
