RGICS team is carrying out a study of exploring possible opportunities of job creation, livelihoods for farmers in farming of Medicinal and Aromatic plants; and also enhancing export of these items. Our team visited the farms of Maa Danteshwari Herbal Group in Bastar, Madhya Pradesh. Dr Rajaram Tripathi, founder of Maa Danteshwari Group and his team took us through their farms, how they practice organic farming and grow herbs like Stevia, Black Pepper, Ashwagandha, etc.
They briefed our team on how vertical farming of black pepper helps farmers earn a very good income and how they have trained farmers from different states in similar practices.
