Nutrients & Additives Basics For Cannabis Growing | What You Need To Know In this video, we're covering the basic of using nutrients and additives to increase the quality of your cannabis grow. There are many many many nutrients available on the market, all serving different purposes.⁣

First things first, you need to know that there are two big nutrients families: the bases nutrients, and the additives.⁣

The base nutrients are the essential chemicals that your plants need to survive and be happy during its entire cycle. The base chemicals you need to make sure your plants have access to are Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium.⁣

On the other hand, additives are specialized nutrients that will help you develop something specific. For instance, additives for the “veg” stage will help kick your plants and grow faster, additives for the flowering stage will help boost your terpenes and grow bigger buds...⁣

Common chemicals used as additives are: Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and Bohr.⁣
