Gimme a hug, it's good to 'see' you! 🤗In this video, I'll be detangling my matted natural hair after wearing an old bun, without causing damage or breakage. In 4 steps, you'll see how I retain length and maintain healthy hair after wearing protective styles, such as buns. It's the exact same process that I used in my Old Braids Takedown video, the only difference is that this time, I'm taking down a bun.

❗️If you take down your style and see that your hair is matted, PLEASE DO NOT wash it first, with shampoo, because it's very likely to mat, tangle or loc worse than it did before you washed it.
❗️Pretty, please don't detangle matted hair while you're tired or frustrated, because a tired body will make you want to speed up your detangling process, thus; mishandle your hair. Take a break and play with dem babies, call ya man, work out, praise the lord, read, or whatever you do to de-stress; and go back to it later. If you're not patient, you're liable to start ripping and breaking the hair out of frustration.
