Hi! Susan and Keith Dudley here. Downtown Saint Joseph has some of our favorite spots to eat, have a cold one and kick back with friends. Here are 3 of our favorite spots wind down: Our first choice in hangout spots is the Tiger's Den. One of the nice things about the Tiger's Den here is they have an excellent cocktail menu. Brian's really good at mixing up the drinks. They also have the largest craft beer selection north of the Missouri River. It's a good place to just relax, unwind, have a drink after work. They got comfy chairs, couches. Want to read a book, you can read a book. Just a real comfortable laid back great place. The owner, he's a good guy. He takes real good care of his customers.
Another one of our favorite places in downtown St. Joseph is Jake's Steak House. They have really awesome pita chips and salsa that I love and great tenderloins.
They also have an outdoor music area where you can catch live music on the weekends and they also have a good beer selection, as well.
And they have an outdoor patio and that's dog-friendly.
If you are into pizza, Geneo's Pizza, they got the best pizza in town. They just remodeled the interior and they've got plenty of seating for your weekends. Once again, the owners of that place are good friends of ours. They're really good people, so they take good care of their customers and their food is fantastic. They got, like I said, great pizza. They also have pasta dishes and things like that, so you definitely will not be disappointed if you go to Geneo's Pizza.
So if you're looking for a nice comfortable place to hang out, downtown St. Joe has some good choices with the Tiger's Den, Jake's Steak House and Geneo's pizza!
