You know guys, buying a house used to be easy.
One, you bought privately from a friend or family member, or two, you found a house for sale and called the listing agent, or three, called up an agent, often called a Buyer’s agent, too help you find as suitable property.
However, now all those old pre internet rules of agency are gone, as all listings are published online and pay out varying Buyer's Agent commissions from ZERO to a few hundred dollars to a full half the full listing agent rate of 5% 6% and even 7%.
However, only the buyer's agent knows the commisison rate and most, if not all buyer's agents are only going to show you high commission paying homes. This and a few other unethical "tricks" investigations like Market Place have turned up, means home buyers are now often subject to fraud when dealing with Buyer's Agents and must become their own Buyer's Agents.
