The main event of tonight’s WWE Raw was set last week. We will see a rematch from the Extreme Rules PPV event. Two of the behemoth names will fight it out yet again to secure the contender’s spot for the Universal Championship.



This spot is empty for a quite a long time due to the hiatus of the champion himself, Brock Lesnar. But he will be back to defend the title at Summerslam.
Hence, the general manager of WWE Raw arranged a couple of matches to determine his next challenger. Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley won these two matches to confirm a showdown. The stipulation states the winner of it will go on to headline Summerslam alongside the beast incarnate.

Now some of the critics and fans see a major problem around this match. Bobby Lashley had already won the Extreme Rules match against Roman Reigns, clean and clear. So he does not need to prove himself again to head into Summerslam title match. It indicates the favouritism the company has for the franchise player of the company.
