Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau cast his vote in the country's general elections in Montreal on Monday, accompanied by his family.

Footage shows Trudeau entering the polling station along with his spouse and children and queuing up to cast his vote.

Trudeau's main opponent is Conservative Andrew Scheer, with polls predicting the two rivals being neck-and-neck with neither of them looking able to secure the majority.
