πŸ›  Making a Desk: Simplicity with Elegance

πŸ›  Making a Desk: Simplicity with Elegance I built this desk to be simple yet elegant. It is made with contrasting materials of walnut and maple. There is a lot going on in this desk, from tapered legs, lots of angles, a beefy top, and contrasting lines. It is built in the mid-century modern style. The joinery is accomplished with a Festool domino joiner. I gained my inspiration from a dining table design built by The Wood Whisperer. I modified Mark's design to accommodate a desk. There is a link below to his build video.
