I realizing now with my hindsight being 20/20 that being in Japan was set out for me even before I knew it. I wasn't ready to come back to Japan until now and I didn't know it.

The first step to anything in life is just that, make the first step. I began traveling on my own time and budget. Sleeping in crusty hostels or on floors of stranger's houses. I proved to myself that I could. Now, I am here in Japan living better than I have ever before solo traveling and learning the language of my dreams.

Since 6th grade living here and learning the culture has always been something that was in my mind. Now all the pieces are together because of my persistence and the universe providing.
