150th Anniversary Celebration - 'WPSD Through the Years'

150th Anniversary Celebration - 'WPSD Through the Years' In 1869, one Deaf student walked into a classroom in Pittsburgh, seeking an education. From those humble beginnings, the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf was born. Since that first student, WPSD has continued to strive to provide the highest quality academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in Western Pennsylvania and throughout the Commonwealth. During this anniversary celebration, WPSD remembers the many, many students who have walked the halls of the school and have made a positive impact in the world around them. We hope you enjoy this video biography that summarizes the rich history of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. Happy 150th Anniversary WPSD!! We are #WPSDProud!
