Check out our other videos here Amazon has been recommending to certain sellers to open second accounts. These sellers have had, either a business verification issue or even no issue at all and Amazon simply recommended to open a second account because their account was doing well. Now we all know this is against the terms of service of Amazon to open a second account without their authorization and without having an extenuating reason to open your second account. And with this in mind, you can be held liable, so you need to double-check the facts whenever you're presented them because if you do open a second account, you will be suspended for related accounts.
And we've even been seeing the rise of our second issue where Amazon has been suspending sellers without any reason. And once they've done that, they followed up and sent a letter saying that "Your account has been related to a deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity." Amazon's now heavily relying on the fact that they can suspend you without reason and that this makes it extra hard for appealing either by us or by you because we are finding the ball now, for sellers who then have to go and hunt down the exact root cause that Amazon believes is at fault with their account. Now, this is extremely difficult on the backend to go back through and just appeal and appeal to teams that may not respond to you after a while just because you don't know the exact issue that your account is having. This makes writing your root cause nearly impossible to get exactly right and it will cost a lot of time for you on the backend.
Now we move on to our continuing issues like business verifications that have been on the rise and we have seen a rise in related account suspensions. Now, this comes from a third party marketing company being allowed to use your Amazon account to help your business. You have to be careful with who you give your login information because if they have a vast group of other sellers that they're assisting, you could get related to another seller and then spend time, resources to get your account back and prove that you are not related to these accounts.
