The kids had a pair of goldfish, named Sorenfish and Claudiafish. It was Soren’s idea. The fish didn’t go missing, so much as… Well, they were goldfish. And we were not good goldfish keepers. Viren broke the news to the kids: that the goldfish had gone on a grand adventure far away, and would not be coming back. We never had a family pet after that. Thank you for the question!
