German telecom operator picks Huawei and Nokia to supply 5G network

A German telecom operator says it has picked China's Huawei and Finland's Nokia to work on its 5G network. Telefonica Deutschland – the German unit of Spain's Telefonica – said it hopes to start work on the network in 2020, even though Germany has yet to finalize rules governing suppliers.
