HE SAVED 8,000 LIVES (Syrian War Hero)

Today I visited a small Syrian town called Sadad, which is located in between Damascus and Homs at the edge of the desert. I met the former Mayor from 2013-2015, named Suliman Khalil, and he was responsible for saving his village from ISIS.

In fact, Sadad is the very first Christian town ever to defeat ISIS, and he claims that it was a major turning point in the Syrian war.

Here is the full story, in the form of a raw interview. It's a different style than my normal videos, but Suliman told me so many interesting things that I decided to do it this way.

I cannot imagine living through this war. It's devastating and painful to hear stories about it, but I felt the need to share this story because it's this man is a hero. Hope it opens up some of your eyes to the realities of life in Syria.
