How to find self weight of beam, column and slab

This video shows how to find the self weight of any structural member. Simple formula used to find out the self weight of any member, Firstly you have to find out the volume of structural member it may be slab, beam or column and then multiplying the volume with the density of material used in that structural member, one can get the self weight of any member. There are different materials like concrete, reinforced concrete, steel and wood etc. So every material has different density so it will result in different values.
