'NOT CLICKBAIT' | Short Film Inspired by the Marina Joyce Internet Scare | (2019) Jane, an out of touch home body, fears for the life of her favorite social media star.

This film is inspired by the internet scare that happened back in 2016 with Youtuber, Marina Joyce. Many people believed her to be kidnapped and forced against her will to create Youtube videos. The rumors were eventually proven false and it was dismissed as a misunderstanding. But at the time, the internet was terrified for her life. Artistic liberty was taken to write something that was very loosely based on the conspiracy. However, it is this conspiracy that served as the backbone for this film.
