Post-harvest grain separation after growing species mixtures.

The video shows how an organic farmer from Navarra separates his yield after growing a mixture of wheat and lentil. He uses a screening equipment to separate firstly the wheat and afterwards the lentil from impurities. Finally, to remove stones from lentils a gravity separator is utilized.


The post-harvest grain separation was a big problem in the organic sector in the region of Navarra. This farmer, the owner of the equipment and an INTIA technician set up the equipment. From now on, it will be easier select the grain for farmers.
