Eskom over the weekend implemented stage 2 load shedding and this ended Sunday night at 23H00. The power utility has blamed the disruptions on a damaged conveyor belt at the Medupi power station. This all after President Ramaphosa assured the nation on 17th December 2019 that Eskom would try to curb load shedding until 13th January 2020.
