Ranger Sharyn went to the nest today with OGK (M) incubating and swapped out a dummy egg in order to candle OGK & YRK's egg to determine whether it is fertile & if the embryo is developing. Candling uses a bright light to shine through the egg shell to observe changes in the size of the airspace and embryos within the shell. That is why Sharyn hooded herself in order to see this development. Ranger Sharyn came away with a smile and this to report: "Egg is developing as it should.” ♥♥ Great news all around!!
