This Used To Be A Sad Day

Saturday January 4th was three years since " Diagnosis Day" . We have been navigating the world of Autism and Special Needs parenting for three years and with every year that passes we become less sad and more accustomed to living with Autism. I always thought this day was going to make me sad forever but this year was so different. Watching Ella live her best life despite this diagnosis is really the way we should all live. She is thriving and happy and at the end of the day living a life full of joy and small victories is nothing to be sad about.
