In a news conference on Parliament Hill, Conservative public safety critic Pierre Paul-Hus and associate critic Glen Motz discuss their party’s opposition motion, which is set to be debated in the House of Commons. The motion calls for the House public safety committee to examine the Parole Board of Canada's decision to grant day parole to Eustachio Gallese. Gallese, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2006, has been charged with second-degree murder in the killing last month of Marylène Levesque.
