Later, official media (CCTV) came out to "dispel the rumor" and said such activity never happened in Xiehe Hospital. But in the comments, nobody believed them.
I think this video is real because:
1. There are also many social media screenshots from doctors and nurses from Xiehe who took different pictures of the event and who complained about Red Cross intercepting and withholding donations from all over China.
2. On one of the nurses, it says her name - and indeed that person works in Xiehe Hospital West Wing.
3. We have social media screenshots of people who recounted: Red Cross promised to give Xiehe Supplies if the hospital publicly "dispel the rumor" that its medical staff was making their own supply. Xiehe did so and went to Red Cross for supplies, but was declined again. Later, Xiehe Hospital deleted the "rumor dispelling announcement".
So yeah...a lot of politics and not a lot of support to our medical workers.
This is what the Chinese internet is focussing on. The government is having trouble containing public indignation against Red Cross (which is basically a governmental organization)
