My name is Meredith and I am twenty two years old. I am going to tell you the story of how I got stuck on my campus rooftop and discovered a shocking truth about my parents.
All my life I had been kept in the dark about the profession of my dad. We were really well-to-do, scratch that, we were more than well-to-do. We were rich. And people would often wonder what my dad’s job was. I would always hear my mum telling them he was a CEO of a multinational company.
As I grew up, I started becoming curious too. My mom used to tell me the same thing: that he was a CEO of a multinational company. But, when I asked her to tell me the name of the company, she asked me to stop being so inquisitive and focus on my studies.
