Good day guys! I uploaded this video to at least answer most of the people who asks me if what set do I use during our WoE.
I currently use Royal Guard because as you may see, our guild already has a lot of crit Rune Knights but we lack characters that are quite tanky for better survival during war. So I adjusted for our guild.
Crit RK's are undoubtedly strong in 1v1 pvp. Probably because of their disables, when put disable cards, and especially the head crush bleed debuff which damages an enemy overtime and kills them. Their 1v1 survivability skill sword parry is also very useful against physical damage.
But their downside is during guild wars/team fights, crit rk has high AGI for sword parry and medium amount of VIT. We always use sink or swim, which makes our mdef down to 0. And due to lack of VIT stats of a crit rk, we become soft during a guild war.
Another problem is the other players stats. A lot of characters with woe equips has high crit res and crit def that makes our crit damage weaker. This is okay during 1v1 because we can kill someone with just the dps of head crush but it can't be applied in team fights.
I currently use RG because they can survive longer than crit rk during a guild war, they can serve as a tank especially when the guild need it, and if you're using sacrifice, it has burst damage that's easier to enhance than crit since all you just need is high HP.
But a crit rk is still good during guild wars. Technique is be mindful on when and when not to use the sink or swim skill. Don't engage in a war first and let your tank guildmate start the fight for you to have the opportunity to hit freely without being targeted. Also, the best role of a crit rk during guild war for me is being an emperium breaker. With 2 minorous cards, normal precision stone and a modifier, you can easily break an emperium in a few seconds with decent damage. I hope you like the video! More power to all!
