Prime Time With Ravish, Jan 29 | Are Laws Being Framed to Suppress Student Protests In Universities?

Various rules are being framed with the aim of suppressing student protests in university campuses across India. All these rules seem to stand against the decision of the Supreme Court, which had said in 2018 that demonstrating or protesting is a fundamental right of citizens. Students are being told to leave their hostels on the smallest of issues or to take permission from their Dean before giving a speech in university campuses.
