The Devacurl Controversy and My Opinion As A Hairstylist

If you don’t follow me on Instagram I posted about this and it ended up being too long for Instagram.

It breaks my heart that so many out there are having such bad effects from devacurl. It’s also upsetting to me as a stylist that they haven’t addressed this issue that so many are having. I had supported this brand with my whole heart so it hurts me that nothing is being done or said. These are my raw opinions about the situation. Hopefully a resolution is in the near future. This wasn’t something I enjoyed recording. I had promised myself I wouldn’t get emotional but obviously I couldn’t help it. My heart aches for those that have been left with damage beyond repair. I obviously cut out some parts where I got a little too emotional because no one needs to see that. I put my whole heart into things and my empathetic and sympathetic emotions took the driver seat for this.
