Wake 'N Break No. 1538 - Tom Groove Utilizing Two Sets of Spoons | Andrew McAuley (KindBeats)

Wake 'N Break No. 1538 - Tom Groove Utilizing Two Sets of Spoons | Andrew McAuley (KindBeats) Today's wake 'n break is a two bar tom groove in 6/8 that utilizes two sets of spoons on the drums. It can also be felt as triplet groove in 4/4 but I feel it in 6/8. Taking the bass drum, we have notes falling on 1 and 5 in the first bar and on 3 in the second bar. Meanwhile, our hi-hats are falling on 3 in the first bar and on 1 and 5 in the second bar. Moving along to the snare drum (with dropped wires), we have notes falling on "1&2&3&4&5&" in both bars, which are being played as flam taps. Last but not least, our high tom is falling on the "&" of 5 in both bars. As always, I hope you dig it and much love!
