Welcome to the Adore | Adorn Interactive Area at the LSU Museum of Art. In this area you will find three vanities with different challenge cards and supplies within the drawers. At the first vanity, you are challenged to create a lego bracelet. Using the legos within the drawer, design your own pattern to try on. Take a photo of your own creation, and tag us at lsumoa. Leave the bracelet behind and move on to vanity two. At the second vanity you are challenged to create different types of brooches based on textures. Use the challenge cards to create an industrial brooch, a playful brooch, and other ones with various textures. Try each brooch on and snap a photo. Tag us and leave the brooch behind as you move on to vanity three. At the final vanity you are challenged to design a necklace. Using the felt pieces within the drawer, test your understanding of color to create your own necklaces. Try each one on, take photos, and tag us at lsumoa. We want to see all of your creations. Finally leave the necklace behind and move on to the Would you wear it? section of the interactive area. At the Would you wear it? section of the interactive area, you will see a glass box with cotton balls in them. Grab 4 cotton balls and step up to each necklace on display and cast your vote of yes or no by dropping the cotton ball into the appropriate slot.
