Hero pilot who flew directly into Whakaari | White Island Eruption | The Project NZ

Helicopter pilot Tom Storey was building a house when he got the call that Whakaari / White Island was erupting.


He dropped his tools to head to the island and attempt a rescue, only to come across a fatally injured mate, Hayden Marshall-Inman.
