Vegetative propagation can be defined as any form of asexual reproduction occurring in plants in which a new plant grows from a fragment of the parent plant or grows from special leaves, root, and stem. This process involves vegetative or non-sexual plant structures, whereas sexual propagation is accomplished through gamete production and fertilization. Vegetative propagation is made possible by meristem tissue, commonly found within stems and leaves as well as the tips of roots. This kind of process occurs naturally and can also be done artificially. Today we bring you a video explaining and observing vegetative propagation.
