Transport Fever 2 - 5 Features That I Would Like To See Added

Transport Fever 2 is an enjoyable game. I really playing it. But I think it can be better. Here are my 5 ideas for extra features.

#1: A Day/Night Cycle
The game is really quite beautiful and a day/night cycle could make it even better. There are already is a night mode mod in the workshop ( Why not incorporate it into the base game?

#2: Weather effects
Every day is a beautiful day in Transport Fever 2. There is never any snow, ice, rain, storms, fog or any other weather. Those weather effects could make for interesting challenges that impact your transport network. From grounding planes because of fog to slowing down ships in a storm: the weather can be a challenging factor.

#3: Competitors
It's lonely on the map. Why am I the only company on here? Add competitors! Let them challenge me with different prices, by competing for profitable routes and by trying to undercut me.

#4: Change the loan system
Currently you pay 1% on a loan (medium difficulty). That's extremely low. Change the loan system to make getting money for expansion harder.

#5: Projects/wonders
Give me something to work towards. Let me build my own factories, quarries and towns by shipping the requirements to a construction site. And, tying in with #2: have a weather effect cause a problem in a town that you need to address (for more profits). Ship relief supplies, transport extra food, but with a deadline. The campaign already has "ship X products by Y date" so why not add it into free games?
