** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** State Police have released body camera footage of the chase, crash and shooting that killed a 19-year-old man on January 15 in West Haven. The suspect killed was identified as Mubarak Soulemane of New Haven. According to state police, he stole a car at knife point in Norwalk Wednesday afternoon. Police then observed him traveling at high speeds on I-95, driving on the shoulder and the center median, even hitting two state police cruisers.He then drove onto the Exit 43 ramp, ending up under the bridge on Campbell Avenue. The video shows State Police troopers approach the vehicle. A trooper is seen smashing a window. Troopers are heard shouting and they tried tasing him and police say when he displayed a knife, that’s when Trooper Brian North fired his gun.
