“Brasil has always been a hotbed for their own music, the singers and musicians this country has produced is staggering. But one thing I’ve noticed the past 20 or so years is how many incredible Rock & Pop musicians have come from there. Influenced by so much in Classic and Modern Rock, the young ones soak up this inspiration and are giving the rest of the World some serious competition! The fact that I have 2 Brasileiros in a few of my bands is a testament to their musical climate there!
That being said, one of the 2 I am speaking is the drummer here of this outfit, Edu Cominato, not only one of the best drummers I have played with but one of the best in the World in my eyes! Here The Final Queen recapture the magic and fire of Queen’s classic hit, Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
The music and production is crisp and tight, performances spot on but more importantly for any tribute is the vocals, here Elvis Balbo captures the essence and smoothness of Freddie Mercury! Awesome from the 1st guitar strum to the fade out! Perfect!
